The action points of the university council:
At ONS we think it’s very important to stimulate students to look further than their lectures. That’s why we want all faculties to attribute credits to internships and exchanges. Furthermore, study spaces are always an issue: ONS argues for longer opening hours of university buildings. We also believe that the university should become more sustainable. But at the same time, there should be more transparency about the efficiency of the sustainability measures. To involve international students more with the university we aim to establish a Buddy Program, where Dutch students help international students become streetwise in Leiden.
